I had no steering, I could not turn the steering wheel with one hand, I had just started recovering from a stroke and chemotherapy treatments that morning , the 3 fokes who stopped told mé I needed a power steering pump. But then I made it across the street to Capitol tires they took me in side and said they would take a look at it ,I told them I could not pay all at once,cause after my rent,phone,and special things I had to have that main care don't pay for ,I only had 17 dollars for the month,don't get me wrong Maine Care takes Good Care of me but I'm over the limits, they said we'll take a look anyway, Well I dozed off for about two hours the next thing I knew they were telling me my car was READY I ask how we hen even done the paper work yet,, ''' AND ALL THREE LOOKED AT ME AND SAID NO CHARGE, NO PAPER WORK AND THEY HAD PUT A NEW POWER STEERING BELT OÑ'''''' AND I OWE THEM NOTHING ,, I CRYED LIKE A BABY I COULD NOT BELEAVE IT 268.00 DOLLER JOB FOR FREE I COULD NOT BELEAVE IT,, I SHOWÉD ONE OF THEM MY READ OUT FROM MY CHECK AND THE MONEY I GET ONCE A MONTH,, THERES NO WORDS THAT COULD EVER THIÑK THEM ENOUGH ,, THERE THE GREATEST ,,,,,,,,, # Joseph Hodge........?

Today I went to Darlings Hyundai dealership in Augusta to get my car inspected. They told me that my 2 year old car needed new brake pads and rotors to the tune of $504.00. I thought that sounded pretty expensive and pretty early for such a new car, so I decided to take it to Capital City to see if I could get a better price. I showed them my estimate and they said they could do the job for around $350.00. Even though they were booking over a month out, Bill found a way to squeeze me in today! After a while Bill beckoned me to come out to the service bays. I thought "Uh-oh, this can't be good." Bill brought me over to my car and the rear wheel was off. He showed me the rotor and pads. He said "You don't need new brakes. Your rotors look fine and the pads have plenty of wear left on them." I was perfectly ready to lay down $350.00 for new brakes and would have been happy to save $150.00 over Darlings, but these the crew at Capital Tire did right by me as they have done many times in the past. Bill, Wayne, Linda and the whole crew at Capital City are straight shooters. They are honest, professional, and super friendly. Their work is top notch and their prices are very good. They go way above and beyond when it comes to customer service and satisfaction. An hour later, and a nice chat with Linda, I had my sticker for $12.50. Next time you need work done on your car, take it to Capital City. You won't do better! Thank you Bill, Linda, Wayne and all the Technicians at Capital City Tire & Service!
